Introduction
How many active blogs do you think there are in the world? Go ahead, make a guess. The answer is 600 million. With a global population of 8 billion people, that means roughly one in every thirteen human beings has a blog. That's just crazy. Why would anyone in their right mind want to enter another needle into that massive haystack of blogs? Good question. . .
I can't speak for anyone else but my reason for creating a blog is pretty simple. I'm not looking to change the world or to make a big pile of money. All I’m hoping to do is to share some of my personal experiences and observations. The free blog format, with no deadlines or content limitations, seems like a fun way to go. In other words, a perfect digital sandbox to play in.
The Way the Story Goes isn’t intended to be a memoir and posts won't be published in any particular order. New entries will generally be triggered by images from an extensive collection of photos. Hopefully, the site's nonlinear structure will lead to a relaxed, inviting vibe for anyone who happens to stop in for a visit.
